Your family is not alone
When your child is seriously ill, life does not stop. Bills need to be paid, gas must be put in the car, and food must be kept on the table. Unfortunately, we know this information firsthand as our son Avery was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms tumor in 2017.
There are no words to accurately capture the nightmare of having a child who is suddenly found to be suffering from a life-threatening illness. Our son had a particularly rare and aggressive cancer. He died 15 months after his diagnosis at the age of 4.

Our Mission!
As a family, we have committed to starting a foundation in Avery’s memory. We strongly desire to try in some way to help “lighten the burden” of families who are dealing with situations similar to ours.
Our goal is to honor our son by relieving some suffering for others. Even the smallest donation might help a family to be able to focus their limited energy and resources where it should be - with their child. We understand we cannot cure illness, but we can let parents know through our donations that someone cares and wants to help.
Help bring HOPE to families fighting childhood cancer
Every day, families are faced with the unimaginable pain of watching their child battle cancer. These children are not only fighting for their lives, but their families are also fighting for the strength to support them through this difficult journey. Your donation can make a world of difference.
By contributing, you provide:
-
Financial support for families struggling with medical bills and living expenses.
-
Emotional support to help families stay strong during the toughest times.
-
Hope and a brighter future for these courageous children.
Your generosity can help these families focus on what matters most—being there for their child. No gift is too small—every donation counts.

Our family was fortunate enough to have much support from many people, both emotional, and financial. During our fight, we did not have to worry about paying for food, keeping our lights on, and keeping up with our mortgage. Sadly, we met many other families who were not so lucky. Many parents were struggling not only with their sick child, but also with financial strain. Often, one parent was forced to quit their job in order to provide care for an ill child. Worries about how to pay for Christmas presents, gas to get to and from appointments, and care for siblings were common and the weight of these extra stressors made an already horrific situation even worse.
